We collect the following information when you use DontGoDinosaur.com:
- Form inputs: Job title, industry, daily task description, age range (optional), gender (optional)
- LinkedIn profile data (optional): Name, headline, current company, location, skills, and recent roles — fetched from your public LinkedIn profile if you provide a URL
- Email address (optional): Only if you choose to save your report or subscribe to updates
- Quiz responses: Your answers to the 6-question assessment
2. How We Use Your Data
- Assessment generation: Your inputs are sent to OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) to generate your quiz, Fossil Score, and task analysis
- Roadmap personalisation: Your role, skills, and results are used to generate a personalised 6-month career roadmap
- Email delivery: If you provide an email, we use Resend to send your report and optional monthly updates
- Aggregated statistics: Anonymous, aggregated data may be used for public statistics (e.g. average scores by industry)
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate:

4. Data Retention
Assessment data is retained indefinitely to allow you to return to your results via your unique URL. If you would like your data deleted, email us at hello@dontgodinosaur.com with your profile URL and we will remove all associated data within 30 days.
5. Data Selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Service.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies required for the Service to function (Supabase session cookies). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data at any time
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from emails at any time
