Terms of Service

1. Service Description
DontGoDinosaur.com (“the Service”) provides a free AI job displacement risk assessment tool. The Service generates a “Fossil Score” and personalised career roadmap based on information you provide. All assessments are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute career advice, financial advice, or any professional recommendation.
2. User Data
To use the Service, you provide: job title, industry, a description of your daily tasks, and optionally your age range, gender, LinkedIn profile URL, and email address. No account is required.
3. LinkedIn Profile Data
If you provide a LinkedIn URL, we fetch publicly available profile data via a third-party parsing service to improve the accuracy of your assessment. This includes your name, headline, current company, location, skills, and recent roles. By providing your LinkedIn URL, you consent to this data being retrieved and used for assessment purposes.
4. Data Storage
Your assessment data is stored in our database (Supabase) to generate and persist your results. Data is anonymous by default — we do not require an account or store login credentials. If you provide an email, it is stored separately for report delivery and optional monthly updates.
5. Email Communications
If you provide your email address, we will send you your Fossil Score report and roadmap. You may also receive monthly AI risk updates for your industry. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us at hello@dontgodinosaur.com.
6. Accuracy Disclaimer
The Fossil Score and all assessments are generated using AI models and should be treated as indicative estimates, not definitive predictions. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any assessment. AI displacement risks change rapidly and individual circumstances vary.
7. Intellectual Property
Generated reports, roadmaps, and assessments belong to you. You may share, download, or distribute your own results freely. The DontGoDinosaur brand, design, and underlying technology remain the property of DontGoDinosaur.com.
8. Social Media Sharing
We may post anonymised and aggregated assessment results on our social media accounts (e.g. Twitter/X). These posts never include personally identifiable information — only species classification, industry, and score ranges. No names, email addresses, or LinkedIn profiles are ever shared publicly.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. DontGoDinosaur.com shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to career decisions made based on assessment results.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
